Dali has formally launched its special 25th Anniversary Limited Edition Helicon 400MK2 speakers, which was first seen at the CES in Las Vegas this January. Finished in high-gloss piano black with a gold badge on the front of the cabinet, the premium speakers also sport a Limited Edition nameplate on the back. Featuring a 25mm Dali hybrid tweeter module which combines a ribbon and a low-mass along with a soft-dome, and two high-performance 16.5cm mid/woofer drivers that enclose Class A magnet systems. On the inside, the crossover makes use of audiophile grade components identical to the ones featured in Dali’s Euphonia series. Fitted with dual sets of vice-grip screw terminals for biwiring or biamping, the magnetically shielded speakers have a nominal impedance of 4ohms with 50-300w recommended amp power and 88db/w/m sensitivity. Where space is at a premium, the Helicon 400 MK2 is a good choice for music and movies in small to medium sized rooms. The Helicon 400 LE 25th Anniversary Speakers retail for an offer price of £5300 per pair.
